The Superior Twin Room 203 featured a comfortable layout with ample space. The accommodation felt upscale.
A bit on the pricey side, and the closest metro station required a bit of a trek. Limited dining options nearby, especially for late-night cravings, means serious planning ahead.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't
The fine garden views and attentive service. Breakfast was a highlight-delicious and beautifully presented.
While the location offered a serene escape, reaching the city center required extra planning, and limited dining options nearby can be inconvenient during late hours.

Located in a serene area close to historic temples, this traditional ryokan offers an authentic Japanese experience. Rooms are cozy and comfortable with high-quality amenities and a selection of complimentary drinks and tea. Breakfast is superb with different sets each morning and a beautiful Japanese garden view. Staff are friendly and attentive with exceptional service, making guests feel welcomed and pampered.
One minor drawback is the language barrier as not all staff members speak English, which may cause difficulties in seeking assistance or planning activities.

The hotel has a beautiful Japanese garden that is very relaxing and enjoyable to explore. The staff are very attentive and the Japanese style breakfasts are superb. The location of the hotel is also a great advantage, as it allows for leisurely strolls in the surrounding area.
The language barrier can be a bit of a problem, as only a few of the staff members speak English. , there were some issues with the kaiseki dinner, which was of low quality and served in a room that was not pleasant to be in.
